The Ice Cap
The Pemberton Ice Fields extend over 95,000 acres and
reach elevations of over 8,000 feet.
Whistler Helisledder’s massive 25,000 acre operating
area is located on the Pemberton Ice Cap, the first major
ice field in a series that extend north to Alaska. Our
glacier base camp located at 6500 feet is a 15 minute helicopter
ride from the Resort Municipality of Whistler, B.C. Whistler
HeliSledder is the only touring company to have exclusive
access to the massive snowfields of the Pemberton Ice cap
