PRODUCTION SERVICES TAX CREDIT
The Production Services Tax Credit (PSTC) is a labour-based
tax incentive that provides refundable tax credits to Canadian
or international film and television production corporations
that have incurred costs in British Columbia. The company
does not have to be a Canadian-owned corporation, and there
is no requirement that it have an interest in the copyright.
The credit is for 18% of qualified labour costs for an
eligible production.

CPTC- Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit
The Canadian Production tax credit is a Federal program
available to Canadian controlled Production Companies & International
co-productions The credit can amount to 25% of qualified
labour costs for an eligible Canadian production.

Film Incentive BC (FIBC) Film Incentive BC is a Provincial tax incentive for BC
controlled production companies & International
Co-productions. It provides a Basic Credit (30% of
eligible labour costs), a Regional Credit (12.5% pro-rated
labour costs for photography outside of Metro Vancouver)
and a Digital Animation or Visual Effects Credit (15% of
eligible labour costs).
